car battery question?

im looking to buy a new battery for honda accord 1989 but they cost $149 aus dollars I was wandering whats the actual battery type and cranking amps for the accord 89 si so i can look for a cheaper one alternative that will work in it but will cost cheaper ? thanks

Get a group 35 battery. I got an energizer one from walmart, 875 cranking amps at 0C for 90 bucks.

if oyu have a hella endurant battery stockist in your town, i think a 127/11 is a good big batt for an accord. its the same size as oem falcon/commodore batt.

so what if i put one with only 330 cca ? plus how do i know if its the battery or alternator gone bad? i charged car battery to 90% took it off charge left it overnight to put it in the car in the morning started up left it for 10 minutes turned the engine off , tryed to start it again turned over like 3 times died ?
