I thought i'd try out this ecu (from a sohc F20A5) to test out my obd1 conversion harness. I'm still using the stock dizzy, but I'll change that when I get around to it. the engine seems to run a lot smoother with this ecu, it idles better & revs smoother, there's a lot less vibration at idle (i have filled engine mounts, so it's very noticeable) just seems like a better ride for daily driving.. My question is, would this be a good ecu to run my engine on long term? or am i slowly harming it?

and before anyone says my stock ecu was faulty... none of my PH3s would make the engine run this nicely, why would this be?

The only "problem" i could see with sucn an ECU is that the timing curve might not be optimal. The rest should be ok.

What version of the PH3 did you use? goldtop or blacktop?
