One of the cylanders isnt compression correctly in a freinds car.......is it the vales, cam, damage to the cylander.....injector, spark plug"??

hard to say without seeing and hearing the engine..
does it smoke?
use oil?
if it does...probably rings or it needs a valve job

if the compression is not right, then probably, ur piston rights are wearing off. Its expected from a 13yrl old motor after all the driving and shit its been thru. If the compressions is like way way way off, then u can just get a used motor with a decent milage on it for around 100K miles or even 50K miles in some rare cases.

no itwas a car my friend was looking at--a mitzobushi or sum pos/...i dunno. but engine are engines...p[istons, cams, valves.......figi
