Broke Metal Condenser Line

I broke the metal line coming out of the bottom of the condenser and then going to the receiver/drier today while trying to replace my condenser. How screwed am I? Is it even possible for me to replace it and if so, how?

Yeah, number 14, right where it connects at the condenser it snapped off.

you can buy 14 from the dealer, it should screw out of the condenser and the drier, it looks like it has just normal flare nuts like brake lines. you would need a brake line wrench to really get it... lemme get you a part number... 80325-SE0-A11 26 dollars ordered online.

I just called the dealer and ordered one, what i'm worried about is that looking at it out in my garage I have no idea how i'm going to pull the old one out and fit the new one in, it's way down in there and it's not flexible.

you would need to take off the bumper and unbolt the dryer to get the pipe to fit in. it shouldn't be too difficult.

I've never taken the bumper off before, what are my odds of breaking more stuff unbolting the bumper and what's the best way to take it off?

You'll definitely need to pull the bumper for that one. I can't recall if the ps lines get in the way... Last accord I did the AC on was without ps.

Remove the horn covers, remove and unplug front turn signals (theres a single screw on the bottom of light that is accessed through horn cover hole in the bumper), remove 4 12mm bolts behind the lights, remove 2 10mm bolts on the bottom of the bumper, remove the bumper by pulling forward.

Yeah thats a relatively easy change.

I know from experience. I broke that same pipe haha. I suppose after 21 or 22 years they dont like to come off. I just went to the junkyard and pulled one out, blew it clean with denatured alcohol and through it on.

Well, it doesn't look like it's going to be so easy for me. The bumper mounting bolts are seized into place so each one I try to remove snaps, so far four out of six are snapped off, any idea what I should do now?

the ones holding the bumper to the mount, or the ones holding the mounts to the car? I'm sure someone on here can sell you a couple of mounts, the mounts bolt to the car, and the bumper to the mounts.

The ones holding the bumper to the mounts. I imagined to successfully remove two of the bolts so if I put the bumper back on it would only be held on by two bolts, do you guys think that would be enough or should I get new mounts so all 4 bolts can hold it on?

Also, i'm a little worried about my new condenser, I bent a few of the fins while installing it so i'm worried about it leaking.

I'd replace the mounts. I wouldn't worry about the fins. When you vacuum down the system, it won't hold if there is a leak. I'd be surprised if there is a leak though.

Well, finally got everything back together. A/C blows freezing cold with no sign of leaks (added UV dye, so far no visible leak).
