Its in prety good shape, according to the guy, Im gona go take a look at it tomorow. Its the Only decent accord up in all of Quebec ive found. Its the same color as mine. The only problem is the front right side was damaged. The owner replaced the fender/turn signal light/corner light but didnt touch the headlight cover. You can kinda tell in the pic that its odd. He says the light still pops up, though.

My biggest problem with the car is that its automatic. I will have to do a transmission swap into Manual as soon as possible. I cant hack that automatic shit. I read the tutorial/How To. I have all the parts, having an 87 in my driveway, but do you guys think its worth a swap, or i should wait? You guys know better than anyone how addictive it is to drive these cars, so should i try my patience another few months and get one for like 2500 in the states, or just go nuts on this one, and make it manual? Feels like an odd question to ask, but im losin my mind here. lol

The owner said it was probabily shot with oil every year, and he drove it three winters, dont know about before that. I know one thing: Im NOT driving a 3gee in the winter anymore. Mine self-distructed in one winter..

There are a few clean ones in Ottawa, but all are ither auto or not FI. If i could get a clean manual EX-i 4dr, i'd be in busyness, but it dosnt look like its hapening, so i guess ill get one with an AT, and swap it... I hope i dont see one i'd buy in a second after i start the swap, though.

Im going tomorow morning to see it. Ill put some pictures up.

The car looks clean!

Check for rust near the rear fenders and along the frame rails under the hood.
Check the strut towers for rust.

A manual swap would definitely be worth it ans I might even take the auto tranny if you don't junk it.

Nice dude. Ill have a TON of parts to cart out. Maybe we can find somebody to take the whole 87, a bunch of parts are still good. Ill be using the bumpers and trim perhaps for the 89, as i like them much better. Also, the 87's seats are soft, and the 89's are usually rough textured, so ill be taking the seats too.. Anyway, im gona PM you the rest.

I put a deposit on the car so he keeps it for a month, till the civic goes away, or till i get cash for it from my family. Its a little shaky on idle, and i think the gas pedal is hard to push down a bit. The body is amazing, though. A TINY spot of rust behind the back door on the left. a little bit around the gas cap, and a spot above the bumper on the left side. Its almost ignoreable. Under neath is amazing, engine bay is also amazing. Interior is perfect. The only issue is the front bumper, and FR headlight casing. I have those, though, and the headlight didnt stop working, it even pops up. No linkage broken or anything. Ill upload pictures later, i gotta go to work.
