Never heard of em before but have been reading alot of reviews from various other car forums and fairly positive attitudes towards em.
Would be damn nice too since i live 20 minutes away from kingsport :naughty:
so has anyone heard of street sport industries before?
oh and i sent the guy a question about spring rates so I'll let you guys know what he says.

Hmm never heard of them before. Thats pretty damn cheap for a set of all 4. If you get them let me know how they ride it would be nice to be able to drop my car for so cheap

I may go ahead and grab a set just to try em out... anything is better than what's on it now anyway...
you get what you pay for though, so we'll see.

I'd try and find out what the spring rates are first.

With a 2.25" drop I bet they're stiff as hell. Which would mean factory style shocks will die in a hurry.

I assumed as much being stiff as hell with that kind of drop, but would be nice to know specifics. I called yesterday and no one answered so i'll try again monday.
Personally I'd really like to go with a 1.5" drop but only a few brands even make that, though they are reputable.

they are variable rate springs which is good. i have H&R springs that look very similar, though mine are just 1.25 drop. looks like a good buy.

Is that for the set of 4 price? $79???

Variable rate is good but they will still have to be really stiff as to not bottom out. I think for the money (cheap) a set of fleabay coilovers would be better. They will also be stiff but at least you can adjust the height. And stiff springs are fine if you find some stiffer shocks to go with them.

places typically sell springs in 4's.

but yes that is the price for four. these are likely the same springs as many other manufactures just with a different name.

i don't think they'd do any worse than the h&r or the sprint/neuspeed.

i'm running a set of megan springs on my civic and they ride just fine, nice and stiff, granted i'm using a set of skunk2 dampers to compliment. i'd just save your pennies and get the k-sports.
