How hard would it be to replace the light assembly? I noticed the motor arm looks like its rivvited on. I need to ither replace it or bend it back into shape, and im wonderin how hard it is to just replace it. I have the part, its on the other car, but if bending it is gona be easyer, ill bend it back into shape.

Few pics of the issue:

not to hard at all, the entire unit can be pulled out and a new one can be placed back in

What tools would you use? I dont see any bolts holding the motor arm onto the light assembly, but ill take a closer look. Thanks. I hope to replace it tomorow, if its as easy as you say.

I believe it's easier to take the arm off of the motor, and let the arm go with the bucket. I think the bucket itself is just held in by a couple of bolts. Be warned, it's pretty ugly trying to keep the bucket aligned.

Yes the arm disconnects from the motor. And for your future reference the motor assembly does unbolt from the wall. Here is a pic to get a idea. Hope this helps a bit.

Replace the whole thing or it will never line up properly
