Help me decide...black or red?

Well after seein how well Marks valve cover had turned out I decided I was going to copy him to see how it looked.

So should I stick with the wrinkle red finish or go back to the wrinkle black?

The red stands out, but still fits in with the rest of the red. Did you re-paint your valve cover alredy? The black is clean on it. I need to repaint mine, too.. When im done fixing more important parts.

Anyway, i say stick with the red. Looks fine.

Red looks great imo. Although I always thought the wrinkle red could be a little darker shade.

I did mine in black, but I like red a lot. Looks very nice.

I like the blue one; a different kind of animal (not wrinkled right?) but I like it

seriously guys a red valve cover = rice? Nevermind the 300+ whp (prob more like 350+) 3rd gen Accord???


Voting so far seems to favor red. While it does look a little bright in the engine bay remeber its freshly painted and the engine bay is dirty. It should darken after being worn in.


I like blue, but I dont think it would work in my engine bay. :D


While ive never really thought of red for the valve cover I must admit my engine bay needs something in order for it to "pop".

Yeah nothing else is going red, oh possibly the coupling at the tb since that light blue kinda looks out of place. :)

It really looks good red but I voted black.
The reason is because since there are so many other functioning design up items in there, it seems more powerful in the cool factor that the original black A20 is under there.
