EOK well I retrieved the code but I'm lost because there was pause butit was a total of 13 but with the pauses it was 1 6 7 so do I have mutiple problems ?

that first blink was just to let you know that the ecu is working, after that pause, it flashed a code 6, then paused, then repeated code 6, then paused, and started repeating code 6 again, but your turned the key off after the first flash. code 6 is your engine coolant temp sensor. a common fault & a fairly simple thing to replace if you're somewhat mechanically inclined. it will be a little thing going into the cylinder head (under the distributor area) with 2 wires going to it. that should be removable with a 17 or 19mm socket i think

Theres on or two post here in the efi section. Look under ECT I think the sensor is called.

ok thanks found one and would you happen to find the parts number for the ect sensor i cant find it to save my life :banghead:

It's also referred to as the TW sensor (water temperature). That may help you locate the part number.
