Has anyone tried to put a block under the carb between that and the intake???

If so what did you use to do it and how well did it work.

Something like this they won't find on the car. I run the only carb honda car out there. Every car is a honda in this class but it's all FI civics.

Would love to see the looks on their faces when they see a carb honda blow by them lol:naughty:

Are you talking about a carb spacer?

Use two carb heaters. Number 3 in the following diagram.

Hollow BOTH of them out so that you have less restriction.

make one out of wood so when it gets real hot you have that nice hickory smoke smell, MMmMmmmmm

The problem with wood is that it would probably be spotted. That heater I posted is an OEM part and unless you're familiar with the car, it won't be spotted.

i would also think you can port the inside of the intake manifold and while you are at it grab a thermal gasket from bisi to give you a few ponies

Ive got a fully hollowed out intake that I don't need. The double pre heater spacer idea sounds pretty good too.You will need to remove the studs and rethread to SAE unless you can find some longer metric ones.
