Should i plug or block off the egr valve?

Or can i just let it be like it is now. It's just sitting there on top of the intake doing nothing. NO vacume line going to it.

Why not attach the vacuum hose to it ands operate it normally? It does not affect performance.

block it off put a screw in it thats whats i did w mine 1993 accord runs great but my check engine light comes on now. if i dont plug it i get a bad hesitation at 1600- 1900 rpm i bought an new egr and went to the junkyard and got a new vaccum box , also clean out the carbon depoists under the egr i think theres just to much build up in there? what do u think??
