hi i have a LXI accord and my rear windows didn't work so i checked if they where connected or not, which in this case they where not so i plugged them back in and they opened but didn't close any ideas why? i checked all fuses and switches seem fine so if anyone got any ideas that would be great.

It might be stuck in the rubber track inside the door

from what i can tell there is no noise coming from the windows, it is as if there is no power or the wire is not properly connected somewhere else in the car, as far as i can tell that is.

Will they roll up if you flip the switch 1238957023485702893457023895 times? That's what I have to do with my driver's side window.

Ick - looks like it's time for a fun game of "find the electrical problem". Start with the service manual - it may have a diagnostic procedure. You will need a test light or better yet a test meter (volt-ohm meter). You will also find a power window circuit diagram in the service manual.

replace the window control moduler, allways seems to be the problem, even my 3g had it

get yourself a test light and stick the pointy bit in one side of the plug for thr motor and use a bit of wire, stick it in the other side of the plug and connect the other end of the wire to the clip on the test light. now work the switch in both the up and down positions, if the light glows in the down pos but not the up , try another switch if you can.
most of the time with faults like that, the switch has burnt up the switch contacts.
