^ Yeah, what model and body style is the '86? If it's an LX sedan, you're all good. Even if it's an LX-i hatch, you still have stuff to work with.

thanks for the replys, have not seen car, wife told me was cheap from a guy she works with.I bought my 89 four years ago for 500.00 without even seeing or driving it,been a super car since.

89 has 220,000 on it now, when i picked it up it had 163,000 four years ago, friend of a friend. when i bought it i went to advance auto for a few maintenance items, the guy behind the counter said 163,000 miles geez that thing isn't broke in yet.I thought 200,000 and it would be dead in the water, still runs super today.will buy another Honda.

I own a 95 chevy beretta Z26 with 99,975 miles on it and it knocks like crazy.beautiful car but damnnnnnn.

i also have a 92 jeep cherokee I picked up for 1800.00 nine years ago, with 191,000 miles.today has 252,000. still runs good, needs a rear main seal. 4X4 still works great.

I'll find out what body style the 86 is and let ya know,if i bought it or not.

It's not worth buying an 84 if you have an 89 in good condition.

If it's cheap enough, buy it anyways. Clean it up, get it running okay, and sell it for a profit.
