Just a little update concerning the proper installation, Angus brought to my attention that the guide sleeve needed to be shortened by approximately 1/4".

This is confirmed.

I was having some vibration in the front end at about 70mph and after the modification of the guide sleeve the vibration is gone.

Thanks Angus, now I need to do the other accord.

What bushings are you using? Part #?

I read that before but I don't really understand. Are you riding on the metal sleeve or on the bushing?

My understanding is that you tighten it down until the metal sleeve is compressed tight on the rod and that the bushing is there for the misalignment as the suspension moves up a down.

No problem Phil.

The poly bushings are thinner. Without cuting the sleeve you're only tightning the sleeve and washers. There will be a gap between the poly bushings and the surface they mount to in the crossmember.

So to ensure proper installation, should you remove the sleeve, stick the bushings in and whatever is excess should be cut off?

Yep, The 1/4" should be just shorter than the 2 bushings together, so that the bushings would compress snug/tightly against the cross member.
