I'm making a new thread cause my other one went gay (here it is if you wish to view (http://www.3geez.com/forum/showthread.php?t=66293)). Before continuing, I'll sum up that thread in a couple posts and then continue from there.

I have another Accord that I use as a daily driver, which means I can have a proper long term project car that I can take my time on & not rush it just cause I need to go somewhere the next day. YAY! Anyway, I'm not entirely sure on what I plan on doing to the car yet, other than a full de-rust of it and painting it another color. This build will probably be pretty slow, cause money says so. But I'll keep updating the thread cause I like documenting everything I do. blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Now to the car.

I didn't get to do much today cause I had other things to do. I got the rest of the interior (that needed to be removed) out, everything I didn't pull out of there, has no reason to come out. Here's a couple more photos.

A mate also let me use this rust remover/converter stuff, which actually works yay. I managed to get one (of over 9000) rust spots mostly done. I'm trying to avoid grinding the rust away cause it looks untidy.

I chopped it out of my NZ new shitter, I noticed the NZ new cars don't rust in that particular spot as bad as JDM ones do (Y)

I now have the car stripped to a satisfactory level (minus the rear suspension, tank & such) I pulled off the front sub frame & gave the engine bay a bit of a rinse. I can lift the front of the car up myself now, but it's still too heavy for just myself to move around.

all I've done there is cut the top part off the accord climate controls off & cut the rear defroster part off the prelude controls & it seems to fit nicely. this will let me turn the foldy down thingy into something non-climate control related, like cup holders or something :)

haha they may bolt on but they might not drive very well. probably will rub on something?? or give too much camber etc etc, Im running 2nd gen 2.0si brakes and hubs on my car, they work mint also. easy brake swap for the accord there (Y)

since he just happens to have a 3g and a 5g there, it would be interesting to have the 2 uprights compared side by side to see what the difference is.

i modified some 5g lower control arms to work. might have to swap radius rods too. i have the rear sorted out i think. i'll post more progress on that later when i'm less sick :)

not much progress going on lately, but i do have a couple good rustless doors on the car now. i still need some epoxy/etch primer for behind the hinges though. I wont align them till the car is back on the ground with some weight in it to flex in the body. aligning doors is teh suck job

nah those where previously worked on & whoever painted them done a shitty job cause the paint was cracked. I'd prolly have to take those doors back to bare metal if I where to use them. the back door came off my daily driver & the front one is the original to this car lol

i got to use my mates welder today, my first ever welding project, i welded a little steel plate to the bonnet & then a nut onto that for my hood struts. now it works sweet

Now, what kind of powerplant is going in?... I have been thinking of a stupid project like this for weeks now, glad to see someone doing it now haha.

The one up there is a A31 subframe, but now I'm using one from a C34 cause I have a complete one of those cars to use for parts lol. The current motor is a SR20DE from a 4WD P11 Primera, recently rebuilt too apparently. It's auto though, but the whole setup was free, so can't complain, only got it to use as a mock-up motor anyway lol. I will post some recent photos of the car soon. lol no progress on this as of late, i *might* be able to have a manual gearbox for it soon, but that will be pushing my luck. my uncle gave me a set of 4x114 wheels the other day, so i stuck them on so i could keep my multi-stud wheels for other cars. this is how the car currently sits. normally with a cover on it to keep water out. check that shitty rear offset!
