i have alot of oil splashed around as you can see and im just wondering if this is the culprit.

If it is some type of plug, does anyone happen to know what its called or wher ei would even get one?

It's the timing port view. For when you are checking/adjusting the timing.

The oil is coming from either the Distributor O-ring failing and or combination valve cover gasket. Replace those two items.

TYVM it was worrying me

would you happen to know if this is the correct o Ring for our cars? or where to actually get the correct one?

call them,no shipping no handling fee. I've ordered from them before, no issues, just have your vin number ready, you'll have to input it to check parts on the site. It makes sure you are putting in the correct info. If you order one order a couple so you have a spare. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=2&ved=0CCcQFjAB&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.hondapartswarehouse.com%2F&rct=j&q=honda%20parts%20no%20shipping&ei=4oVsTMO2O4KKlweo9q3zDw&usg=AFQjCNHCVPLY3N3RzN8kLGH_nNua0kdIkw&cad=rja

Their prices aren't that bad, and shipping is understandable.

lol , you dont really need the plug none of mine had them all thats in there is a flywheel anit going to hurt anything without it worry about your dizzy oring leak and valve cover gasket first then find one of the plugs from a junkyard

$14 shipping on a $1 O-Ring that at best is 2oz is understandable?

Seems like hondapartswarehouse.com doesn't exist anymore, now it just redirects to the website of some new Honda dealer (assuming it's the same dealer that ran the old site but the catalogue is gone).

I ordered from them a couple of days ago and was trying to get back in to check the status of my order and their site is replaced by a Lundgren Honda dealership site.

yea me too, now i'm pissed, i ordered too, and i just called Lungren honda, and the guy who did honda parts warehouse operated out of them, the answer is he just decided to stop doing it and went off line, i'm about to raise hell about my outstanding order i've been waiting on. it was backordered now it's vanished, every time i find a decent dealer they close.

nfs480
09-13-2010, 12:52 PM
Did they say they wouldn't be shipping the parts? Because i've got a $143 order from them i'm waiting on.

lostforawhile
09-13-2010, 01:02 PM
Ok i called Lungren Honda 877-770-8093 all orders will be honered if you have any issues call that number and ask to speak to jeremy from the honda parts warehouse, he said the owner of the site took it down for not being profitable, but the people are still at the dealership and all orders will he honored. the dealer is still there and not going anywhere

nfs480
09-13-2010, 01:04 PM
Good, thanks a lot lost. I had just spoken to them on Friday and they didn't give any indication of closing the site down so it got me a little worried.

lostforawhile
09-13-2010, 01:06 PM
the site was a division of the dealership, actually seperate company within the dealership and everything will be honored by the dealership itself. he said any order taken before they closed is still valid. no one went anywhere they just took down the online site. :uh: pisses me off, most reasonable dealership i've seen yet

Yeah, looks like it's back to Majestic for my future orders until I can find a site as good. Hondapartsdeals.com always seems to be slightly more than Majestic.
