Just something I picked up last winter, I have been flipping low mileage Hondas for a couple years but I knew I had to keep this one at least for a while. Only 130,000 kilometers on it when I bought it, up to 140k now.

Decent offset on the rims lends itself to a good looking stance.

I went and got one of those 1st gen. Integra lips everyone is on about and spaced it down as low as possible, looks awesome. Also got back into by a cab :hmph: and now had Gold hood and headlight tin instead of the "Shuttle Metallic" like the rest of the car.

I'll post current pictures this weekend.

Nice, i love the 86/87 look... also, shuttle metalic? champagne? geez, they realy need to name the same color the same name lol. Im hopin my post-facelift 4dr will be pre-facelift soon enough lol. How does she ride that low to the ground, by the way? and nice red strip, creative.

Rides terrible, blew all four shocked through the top hats.

Got another set out of the parts car i got the new hood and light covers off of. Planning on doing the extended top hat mod.

The shocks only had 1.5" of travel left with the car all the way down on the coil overs and i smoked some raised casting sticking 2" out of the ash fault, so you can do the math on that one.

From '86-'88 our cars (my coupe, both of your sedans) were called "Misty Beige", and '89 it was changed to Seattle Silver. No Shuttle Silver, and the "Champagne" is the metallic piss. ;)

Picked up the rims off a guy with tires for $150, they where machined face with black powder coated inserts and curb to oblivion. Blasted them off (btw HATE blasting powdercoat) and then filed em down and filled in the curb rash and sprayed em off. Tires are 205/50/15.

As for rim dimensions I am not sure about offset but I think they were 8 wide. never payed to much mind, I was just happy they fit on there so well. Next summer I'll definiatly be slapping some more serious offset on there, easily pull another inch + on the outside lip.

Heres the gold hood and light tin and the chin spoiler.

Thank god for that chin spoiler, seeing the bottom of the rad support was hella lame. Plus it looks more canned from the front now.

Lovin the lip, but i realy dont like the bike rack lol. I'd be upset if i had that with a sunroof. If you check out my topic for the 89, and the 87, youll notice i have a visor with deflectors on my roof, it sends air into the car from the sunroof. It makes me happy.

to all you guys who want sedans ... they're not too hard to find lol. Im lookin for a hatch tho... wonder where i'll find one of those.. and in manual. They seem to all be AT.

Well I rock a bmx so i love the rack, plus the cross bar is right over the sunroof so i hang my arm off it when im clipping down the freeway. Im a windows down kinda guys so I dont need any extra air.

Ayeobe
08-27-2010, 07:06 PM
That works, then. I cant open the window cause my hair stabs my eyes ... not helpful. with the sunroof deflector it pushes the air down at my legs and body, but not my face, so its perfect. By the way, how did you get that red line on there? im thinkin of painting my trim body color, then putting a black line around..

Thats what i thought ... guess i'll try my hand when the time comes. I wana make it a certain distance from the bottom, and not right at the bottom, which is what im worried about.

My stock set got messed up, somehow the drivers side one got massacred from nothing, and my passenger side was the only casualty to an accident, so i had to replace it.. thus i ended up with two mis-matched ones.. which is why i still have the 89 stile ones on the 89.

They are sometimes different because they're aftermarket replacement parts (made by TYC)

Holy shit, that is sexy as all hell. That is the best looking stance I have ever seen man the only thing that could make it even more perfect would be a new exhaust otherwise that is amazing. I love it!

Just pieceing the new suspension together that came out of the parts car. They are just cleaned up and painted stock struts with mid-level ebay coilovers (this time with the double locking rings instead of the allen bolt). I also went an bought some huge o-rings and taped them around the body of the shock because my current set of the car were pretty floppy on the struts even with the washers. These sleeves are so tight on there then may as well be part of the strut. I also will be posting some pictures of my own top hat mod for extending the throw of the shock absorber when lowered that doesn't use any extra hardware but will involve metal fabrication. Heres the front struts assembled.

http://i800.photobucket.com/albums/yy290/lowsidecustoms/IMG_0137.jpg

I am most likely going to cut the pearches off once the car has pressed the sleeves all the way down onto the struts and I can see exactly where they land. I will also most likely flip the sleeves over as the 1/2" unthreaded portion of the sleeve and the extra locking ring result in about an extra inch + of height to where the spring will sit.
