My name is herb, i'm originally from Pa but now live in louisville ky and i'm actually flying back to pa on monday to pick up a 1988 lx-i with 74,xxx for $500. I only have cell phone pics to post but once i get the car i'll have better shots of it. Enough talking on to the pics. i forgot i have to post 4 more times before i can post pics lol

Yeah i want to drop it but i don't like any of the choices for shocks that are available. I have a spare koni/ground control setup for a 90 integra that i might try to install (don't know if they will work though). I also have a 89 integra lip that i will toss on to. It's automatic so it will be a cruiser so much won't be done other then cosmetics and whatever is needed to keep it running good. Monday i'll give it a full tuneup, repaint the black fading trim and detail the inside and outside

I want a picture of the HUD/odo.

FYI, it's not an '88. It's either an '86 or '87. :D

I don't know what's available for this car spring wise, i didn't even get that far in searching yet lol. I've been searching for shocks, but there's some info in the suspension part of the forum.

Really, that's what the person told me lol, i didn't even see the car in person yet. These pics are the only thing i've seen about the car so far. I'll take a bunch of interior shots on monday.

No need to, I'm from Europe and was just wondering which heights were available on the other side of the ocean.. But you're right, when I want to know I should search

lol, what suspension do you have on your accord?

4 cm lowering springs (1.6 inch) front. I also have the rears but not installed yet. Still don't know what to do. IMO the wheel gap is too big, so I was thinking about 2.25 inch lowering springs. But don't know how much the space between the bodykit and asphalt would be after such a lowering... :dunno:

Have to figure that out first. :)

Yep. I still haven't figured out a difference between the '86 and '87 sedans. I know the difference in every other year and body style, just not those.

Have you ever thought of going with coilovers for the adjustability?

Yeah I have, but that's a much bigger investment.. As I said, I haven't made a decision yet.

I took a few more shots but the lights sucks so they didn't come out to good. Tomorrow i'm gonna wash, claybay and wax it to see how the paint looks and detail the interior plus put a cd player in. Depending on how i feel i might repaint the trim, put on some rear mud flaps and a front lip.

Thanks, the teg still has to be put back together and i have to pick it up from Pa to lol. The accord drove great on the 650 mile trip from Pa to kentucky and cost me $57 in gas.
