Befor you start stat1k I searced but didnt have hours to find them. My idea is to shorten add external adjuster and so on to a brand new set of konis. I read somewhere on here that you can shorten the konis at the factory. So with that what other models, years fit our cars. Will be costly but still the best I belive as far as struts go. So help me guys (With all the usual flack of corse). LOL

Your looking at 200 per damper to shorten and revalve, plus shipping, plus the cost of finding konis from another car. Your looking at at least 1000 for just struts. Bilstein will revalve as well, for quite a bit cheaper, look at them first.

I have looked at all sides and really like the bilsteins. But wouldnt mind spending the money for a product as good as the konis. Just checking on others that fit for now so I can get an idea. Thanks 2drSE-i for your help. As soon as I can find the different years and models I can get a good price.

Got to looking at price of the bilsteins adn they are 75-100 each new and 65 each to revalve. So at minum you are looking at 560 to 660 plus shipping. So the way I see it is you are only looking at 300 to 400 dollars difference to go the best. And that is if you pay full price to start with for the konis to start with. But I am still just looking at this time.

i've read about 88-91 civic FRONT struts fitting, but i believe it lowers the car a bit.

With the Accord i bought last week there were 3 original folders. 1 of the Aerodeck. 1 of the total Honda car program of 1989. And 1 of the original accessories program 1988.
All sorts of fun stuf is in there. Wheels, steering wheels, spoilers and also this Bilstein set.

Its sad to say, all 3 folders are in German. And some mad fool made holes in it to store.

I'm also looking for the right buy. Like them to be ride height adjustable. And don't mind to pay a bit more and have the best.

Awsome find. But I have more than 1 accord. I think I found 88-92 civic and 90-93 accord. Help me and tell me if I am right. Thanks for all you help so far.

88-91 Civic struts will "work", but they are significantly shorter then the accord struts. The rear 91-93 may fit, I don't know if anybody has tried that yet. I do know a full body coil over from those years will work, but the strut is definitely taller the the 3G strut. If your going to go spend that much money on struts + the price to re-valve, why not just buy the full bodied coil overs already available for the 3G?

Too harsh of a ride. But thanks so much for the info. I am still puting together ideas.

The setup I got had optional spring rates, and the struts are adjustable. You can make it as harsh, or not harsh as you want! Not sure if that is available with the already made kit now, but I'm pretty sure no limits motorsports wouldn't mind splitting up another kit as they did for me.

I wonder if they offer the optional spring rates with the K2's since they are just the same as the D2 coilovers (except color).
