Well by mini, I mean me and Pico, and by meet, I mean we worked on my car at Pico's place...and by place I mean garage. :confused:

Wait, I did what now? Where's my medication? I know I know, pics or it didn't happen. I dunno ask Pico, he has the Pics...Well maybe it happened and maybe it didn't, all I know is the EGR problem went away. :dunno:

Pico has magic in his garage...and by magic I mean tools and parts. Done...me study now. :uh:

Turned out to be a faulty EGR main valve, it wouldn't hold vacuum for sh*t. Replaced. Got timing set up, cleaned up the TB, installed MSD 3 coil. Pico got me back on the road in good form...thanks man. Runs better now.

It felt much better on the drive home. I'm still a little concerned with intermittent low idle in traffic. But it wasn't nearly as bad as the ride up there. I might give the injectors a cleaning. Might have to flush the TB again.

BTW for a 5MP camera phone my pics weren't too bad.

It was nice meeting you today and glad I could get your check engine light problem solved.
Next time your up this way or if I'm in the city we can hopefully get more of together for a photo shoot

It would be nice to have another Norcal mini meet this summer. After I'm done with this damn research class I should have some down time in July and August if anyone wants to help with my Accord and have a meet up.

Sounds good, but I think I start up classes again on August 25 or so it would have to be the week before. I'll talk to Pico and see if he wants to host a gathering of some sort. My place is tiny and there isn't any real parking here in the city to make it worth it. :facepalm:

oh its all good my old sedan had a really bad paint but i still let her be in photos :D. just give her a nice wax before the meet and she will shine for you.
