factory stereo controls on steering wheel

So my girlfriend and I were pondering the junkyard for a decent steering wheel for her lx-I and we found what looked like volume controls on the steering wheel on the left side that matched the cruise controls on the right...
Anyone ever seen this?

yes its off a sei
that has the stock bose stereo
that same car should also have rear disk brakes and cupholders

Anybody know whether the SE-i has a different wire harness than the other cars, or they all have the same one that has unused plugs? I'd bet on model-specific loom.
