intake manifold question

ok gentlemen... i want to convert my 89 style intake manifold to the simple 87 style intake manifold... how difficult would it be to pull this off? is there different connectors and what not?

the runners are a bit wider then the newer styled ones... and i just like the simplicity of it

if the ITBs work, the 88-89 LXi/SEi manifold is superior.

Unless you are cammed and full I/H/E, youll lose some midrange power if you swap intake manis due to the shorter runners. If you have quite a few mods you might pick up some hp but only if the head is port matched to the intake mani. If you dont, wave any hp gains you could have goodbye.

the 89 manifold works with the 89 ecu...so you would have to upgrade that.

it has more torque..but i have a stage 2 cam with cam gear

Is yours OBD 0 or OBD 1? Where did you get your stage 2 cam?
