I've got a weird and probably easy to fix issue w/ the throttle and perhaps the throttle cable itself.
I can only depress the gas 30% to WOT. No further. I tried adjusting the cable so that it idled properly and such. Maybe that was a bad move? There seems to be a lot of slack in the cable right where it goes around the throttle mechanism on the carb. To me, this looks bad and is the source. I adjusted it to just about taught and then my idle went through the roof.
HMMM....I am lost. Maybe I should just keep jacking w/ the throttle adjustments until it fixes the problem.
If that's not it, then what? Is there a snag in my cable or something?
