NZAccord

I've been checking out everyones Accords on here for a while now so I thought I'd take a few pics of my own one and give you all a bit of a back story.
So I was browsing Trademe (our local ebay) a few months ago, when I came upon this fair lady, and was immediately seduced by her beautiful looks and banana paintwork, right away I knew that I MUST HAVE THIS CAR. I'd never seen a first gen Accord before and thought I might be able to get this one quite cheap. I arranged with the owner to have a look, and bought it then and there for 1000 NZD (approx 750 USD).
The owner was a 70 year old man who was selling the car on behalf of HIS mother lol, and it had been in their family since they bought it new. It had done just under 100,000 km (approx 60k miles), and it came with a full service history, oil and filter changes every 6 months for its entire life, and the original owners manual, tool kit, etc, so I was extremely happy.
Once I got it home I checked more thoroughly the condition of the car (something I should have done before buying lol but I was blinded by its beauty), and found little to no rust, only small dots sprinkled across the body, no cracks in any of the interior plastics, and the upholstery was nearly mint. Also the carpet had been replaced 2 years ago for the same amount that I'd just bought the car for, the plugs, brake pads, and all four tires were brand new, and the exhaust was replaced and the cam belt had been done less than 10,000 ks ago so i was pretty stoked about that.
Since owning it (about 3 months) I've changed the oil, oil and air filter, and bled the brakes, hopefully in the future I'll be getting all the rust removed, the small dings here and there fixed, and give it a new paint job, and generally taking it from 85 percent to 100 percent mint. Since I've had this car I've become a bit fanatical about these early Honda cars and have been looking for an s car ever since, till I get one I'll just have to keep watching the Jay leno vid lol.
