I was just curious on what compression most of you guys have in your cars? I know I am running 160 psi ( 11 ) in mine.

Also I was wondering if any of you ever tried Gunk's Motor Flush. Did it actually work any.

an engines cranking compresrion has nothign to do with its mechanical compresion ratio per say. ive seen engies with huge cams and 12:1 compresion ratios with like 90psi of cranking compresion. as the engine speed increases however and the cam begins jaming air in there it really ramps up quick. its all subjective to how much air is in there when cranking.this is called static compresion. its the actuall amount of cylinder pressure before combustion.
mechanical compression has a direct efect on it but so does cam profile. a cam can increase compresion or decrease compresion all over the place. its not really as stright forward as any engineer of hotrodder would like it to be but thats the price we pay to play.

Mine ranged from 199-210 psi (don't remember exactly what each one was). It's completely stock as well.
