hello to you all. I've been looking through this site for a couple months now and finally joined. I'm amazed by the quantity of information you guys have put together. It has, and will be alot of help when it comes to fixing/modding my new(old as hell) 88 sedan. Thanks in advance

Mark

Welcome from Palatka. If you ever need parts, I have more than most of the junkyards.

I can't recall any Sedan members local. All of the Jax guys I know had coupes, and I have one of them. The other was MattPhi, and his was a clean white coupe, nearly exactly like the one I have.

If you're just chilling this weekend and want to take an hour trip, come down to my neck of the woods and I'll hook you up with some spares for cheap. I have some dentless doors that would only need paint. I may have a full set.

I've got a runner that has a fresh head. I'll take $300 for it, but I'll prove that it runs and drives. Another $100, and I'll include the good 5 speed transmission.

:werd: i can get trannys real cheap; but how many miles on the motor.

trannys are two for $75 if you can carry them 25ft. at a local jy a couple times a year. anything you can carry(minus engines or engine parts)

I'll have to check on the motor with the fresh head, but the other motor has around 150,000 miles on it. I'd consider it a core, and I'd let it go for $50 if you pulled it. Pulling it will pretty much be picking it up. There's no transmission attached, it's just a motor. It ran when parked, though.

If you want to come down and pick my brain or give me a call, shoot me a PM. I'll give you my number and we can talk about all things 3gee.

I'll have to head up there at some point. I really need a full set of dampers that will handle a 500 pound spring and have plenty of travel if I lower the car by about 3 inches.
