I Jus wanted to show you all with the orange blinkers on ur tails to do somethin with them....makem look good, the cheapest thing u can do which is very nice is go buyt some transparent candy apple red model paint at walmart (testors) and GET RID OF THAT ORANGE!! heres mine

Not too much time, the harderst part of it was the damn newspaper, lol, but im satisfied with the results id say a good 20 minutes of newspaper_(easier with help) and like a couple minutes of painting then u js let it dry

its easy painting the tails ...just cover up what you dont want painted and spray them...it looks much better all red ...i have heard putting one thick coat on works better but i did alot of light coats and it came out ok

Dont use newspaper, use plastic wrap.

no one thick coat doesn't dry smooth, it's all textured, and also make sure u put some clearcoat over top of them or else they will fade and the orange will show through

you can use testor clear coat
spray generously on the whole tail

whats the name of that darker colored red trans. paint??? Its a dark maroon color... I want to paint the orange the candy apple and the other piece the darker red.....

You guys just inspired me to go to Wal-Mart at 12:23 to go get the paint a clear coat so I can do mine tomorrow. :)

i heard somewhere that you should only use automotive clearcoat because it won't turn yellow over time, oh and i couldn't find any testors transparent paint so i found krylon red paint for painting stained glass, i got it in a craft store full of old ladies

I finished them today. They took maybe 2 hours. Looks sweet!! Wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. Tomorrow I'm clearing out my bumper signals.
