well heres a pic of my 750 watt jenson subs, the ? is what jensen amp should i get 4 it? i was thinkin bpout buyin this 300 watt amo that goes around for $100, will that push em?

750W total or each?
what is the model for the subs?
anyway, Jensen subs are good if you are pushing like 250w and under.
i would not recomend more than 250W RMS.
check ebay for a good deals. and tell us what you have found.

actually, that's what new jensen amps run new, at wal-mart...

one would drive those subs just fine... don't pay too much attention to your max subwoofer power... pay the most to RMS... the 200ish watts that amp will put out is more than enough for those subs that have an rms of about 130 watts each... i have a pair of jensen xs1212's (12's) and i ran them off of a 100 watt RMS home theatre sub amp, and with all the listening i've done there, i figure you can go maybe 200 watts each before you distort

yes, my subs r 740 total, and the JENSEN 300 watt amp @ walmart is about $100, so i think ill do that

if the new jensen amps are anything like the ones from last year then I would strongly sugjest that dont go with it.... unless you cant find anything else for the price that you want to pay... Usually subs are built to handle a certian wattage and when you under power them you do not get good results... Its my opinion that Jensen isnt that great of an amp.... I know several people that own them and they all tell me first off... first thing when were walking twards their car and they're telling me the things that they have... speakers.. headunits etc... its always... "now I have a Jensen 500w or a 350 or whatever".... "but its only on there for now while Im waiting for a better one"... and its all becasue they know what a decient amp sounds like... jensen just doesnt push what it says it does nor does it have a good sound feedback... the friend of mine that owns the 500w version... I was trying to explain to him why he should buy a better amp and to prove it to him I let him borrow my 400w interfire... he came back to me the next day and begged to buy it off me... He said that it hit sooo much harder then his 500w... Its not the advertised #'s that matter... its the quality of the amp....
