Hey, everyone thank Dr.Snooze for going to the trouble of taking apart an 89 Honda electrical troubleshooting manual, and scanning it, and making it a PDF, Does someone have a server with space to host it in the section with the Accord Shop manual? i have a copy for myself, and it's great!! He did this for all of us, to help with electrical diagnostics, the 86-87-88 are slightly different, but very close, if you have this you'll be able to figure out electrical issues, we just need a place to download it from

How big of a file is it? If it can be emailed, I'll host it on the 3geez server.

he mailed it to me, the zip file is 82.7 MB, and unzipped it's 104, it's a pdf so it could be setup to download. pm me an email and I'll forward it to you, he hosted it on some free server and sent me the link, I think the file expires after so many days though. it still good as of now though .

Thanks for doing this, but 83MB is too large for our server - we could go over our bandwidth limits. Aren't there free hosting sites? Maybe it's called Megaupload? Rapidshare?

I've tried several times to load the manual to rapidshare and it always freezes at about 50 MB, so no luck

If you need it again, just let me know and I'll be happy to resend it. Please just send me the link to the final file so we can get it posted up here.

Thanks Frantik!

I have the 1987 Electric manual. I started scanning it page by page. This is taking a long time for sure.

I'll host it when it's finished.

I took mine to work and ran it through the copier/scanner. You can only do 20 or so pages at a time, but you can piece them back together using Adobe Acrobat Professional. Then put in bookmarks and all is sweetness and light.

i'll be glad when both the 87 and 89 manual are up, the 89 was published in 88, so maby the 87 is from 86, that should cover all of them, now the pdf of the service manual has the digital dashboard, power folding mirrors etc. maby that section could be put up just as a supplement to these two manuals.

Thanks again. It might be useful to put the USDM '89 manual (http://honda.roadpwnage.com/manuals/pages/usdm-accord-1989-full.php) up there as well. Unlike the Russian manual, it covers California and federal smog controls in the US.

Thanks to 2ndGenGuy for hosting it.
