So my drums started making a shuddering sound as I drive up the road, and a popping noise when they stop.
Ive decided that the drum brakes are a shitty ass stupid design and I dont like them anyway.
What parts do I need from the SE-I to do the rear disc calipur conversion?
Also what parts can I source from a place like O reillys or advance? going to look up now.

I take it the hardest part to source will be the SE-I emergency brake line, the one that goes to the parking brake? If so im just going to buy the rotors pads and caliper from Ebay.
if you want new cables, Rock Auto still shows them.

I did not know those were still available. I may pick up a set for future use.
P.S. I updated my rear disk thread with a parts required list. After fallowing your link to my thread I realized I only had a tool list :uh: .

Thanks for the needed parts list forest, that will be very very useful. Im jobless so im broke now but I have 3 hopeful jobs.. 2 as supervisor positions and 1 as a construction worker.. Im hoping I get one soon so I can start paying my bills again.. I hate having to learn into savings money to pay it.
Also I just checked rockauto.. they have a quite a few parking brake lines for the calipers.
I think the hardest thing to get will be the wheel hub bracket..

I merged this thread with the existing Rear Disc Swap thread in the How-To section.
