I am needing to find a more reliable car since I had a child back in October. I will admit that this car has some issues still, but considering the members here, most problems should not be that hard to fix, hopefully...
What has been replaced:
Bosch Platinum 4 plugs
NGK Spark Plug Wires
K&N Air FIlter
Radiator
Coolant Temperature Sensor
Main Relay
Valve Cover Gasket
Water Pump
Oil Filter
Fuel Filter
Brake Pads
Brake Shoes
Rotors
Brake Master Cylinders
Igniter Switch
Distributor Cap & Button
Exhaust from the catalytic converter back (glass pack exhaust)
Driver's Side Axle
New Fuel Injector seals
Replaced both rear brake light assemblies
Retapped #1 spark plug with an insert (not a helicoil)
All fluids checked and filled
What needs to be fixed:
Rear Motor Mount
Speedometer 10 MPH off (shows 10 MPH slower than actual speed)
Drivers side front sunroof gutter (leaks during rain if nose down on a hill)
Transmission slipping out of gear randomly (even after adding Lucas)
Gas gauge off by a bit, (shows 1/8th of a tank low)
Oil Pan Gasket
rust stains on interior rear carpet
ECU flashes a code 12 (EGR valve)
Gas smell inside car if left idling in the same spot, can't find the leak
A/C removed (partially before I got it, I removed the compressor and hoses)
Exterior:
Rust on trunk catch area
Rust on front of passenger side rear wheel well
Blue paint/ Tan hood
new-ish 13" used tires
Interior:
Front speakers blown when I got it
No Rear Speakers
Original Factory Tape deck
Interior light not working (just need to reattach blue/white wire to harness near fuse panel)
driver's side window slow to roll up
193,000 miles.
If nothing else, it would make a great parts car if you can't get if fixed. I'd love to get $700 out of it, but am negotiable on the price to a certain extent. Please be able to come pick up the car if you'd like it. Also including (2) Honda Timing Belts, and a new Fuel Filter.
Need to sell as quickly as possible! Hoping to get an '03 Accord next week.
