drivers side latching mechanism

I did do a search but came up with nothing.

I need to replace the door latching mechanism on the drivers side of my lx-i hatch. I was wondering if there was a diy anywhere or do i just have to wing it?

For starters, the door panel has to come off. I think it's pretty straightforward after that.
