ive been looking for a new cat and notice that on ebay they say that the cats fit our accords the 92-96 prelude and many others... i just happen to have a 93 prelude and i could use that cat if it fits so the question is, does it?

On the direct bolt on cat from NAPA click on the first Cat and click on "view other vehicles that this part fits". It does show some 80's preludes fit.

unless it's just a monster you can make it fit with a welder, er muffler shop for cheap

i still need to pass emmisions so catless isnt an optuion until i pass.

i could do that but i like to have an easy oe bolt/unbolt replacement process instead of cut/weld repeat every time i want to change.. and it gives me the option to run catless with one of those straight pipe empty cats.

i know it is but if its just a delete and lists all those cars the cat flange would match... get were im coming from?

i bought one and the flanges did not match up...but before i had my car the last owner had a aftermarket exhaust...so he could of put back a pieced up exhaust...i had my exhaust shop cut the flange and rotate it to make it fit

Why don't you just go look at what you have already?

I would go look at the one on the lude but its buried in a mess of junk in the garage and its about a days work to get to it. I dont mind the work but b/w school and everything else a days of work would set me back. I just wanted to know if anyone had done this before
