Hey people of 3geez Im new here have been trolling the forums for a while now. Decided to make my first post,

Im looking to add some new wheels and maybe lower the suspension to my 88 honda accord im not the best with cars so i figure the best place would be to ask here first so im wondering which size wheels would fit with nothing being done to the suspension and if im looking to lower the car what do i need to do this and where can i get the parts to do it.

thanks for any future input.

You could get 19's on there without lowering the car, but it will look retarded. Anything over 16" is too big for these cars.

I guess i should have added it in my first post but i didnt think anything bigger than 16" would fit my taste/or the car also keeping in mind i do want to lower the car maybe an inch or so

An inch won't really be noticed on these monster trucks.

everything depends on how much money you wanna spend. 15s or 16s look good on these cars and they are cheap. if you dont want to get camber kits or upper control arms don't lower your car anymore than 1.5-2''. a 2'' drop w/ a set of 16 will look good and be fairly cheap. also a front lip does a lot of good to the stance of these cars. all of this is covered in the suspension section but take everything w/ a grain of salt. Some people think if you aren't buying "the best of the best" it is crap; not true. a few members have found cheap setups that work well; just do alot of research before you buy anything.

Some people prefer 16s but i prefer 17's although i have a body kit and smaller rims just don't look right with it .I don't have problems with them at all . 16s are nice too. :eek5:
You just need to find out what u prefer . There are people on here that always have nothing but negative things to say about ones car.:321: But there not driving it . You are.. Fidn out what you like by trial and error . First comes the drop then comes the rims then comes some chickies in the passenger seat with there tops off.. Has happened with me ...:eek5:

Good luck and do it Big .

you will have to roll the rear fenders and hope to get camber in the front so it clears

Yeah my brother got some universal rims with new tire he might sell so thats why I'm asking.I have camber kits for the front and I could do the washer trick in the rear if I have to.

Hey Messy, my car is riding on a similar wheel/tire setup as your car and is ready to be dropped on H&R springs. Did you have roll the rear fenders at all to clear the tire?

no but if you have any passengers or turn really hard the tires will rub
