Anybody know an easy way to replace the horns on our '95 civic (without removing the bumper cover) ? The horn(s) were sounding funky for a few weeks, now stopped working altogether. The service manual picture seems to indicate removal of the bumper skin to get to the horns . . . seems dumb to me. I plan on walking the local junkyard as soon as the weather warms up this week and trying to get to the horns on a wrecked one before I rip into our '95. I'm afraid I'll never get the bumper "skin" back on as good as it is now. Anybody run into this before? The civic is a 1995 Civic 4-door automatic, 198,000 miles, 40 mpg all the time, great car! Well, with these Accords you take the bumper off and take the cover off with it, meaning it will go back on the same way. I can almost guarantee you that you're going to have to take the bumper cover off unless you want to tear apart the engine.
