after studing lots of threats here, it´s time to introduce me and my 89 Sedan EXi Special Edition to the forum.
Bought it in march 2010.

The "Special Edition" sold in germany came with the following specialties:

painted rearviewmirrors, painted doorhandles, rearlip on trunk, wheels in dimension 195/60 R14, leather-steeringwheel and sporty wheelcovers:nuts:

It was only availlable in red, black & white.

I got the shitty red one.
Some parts of the hood are already faded by sun.

I spy black grill, this means you have a 16 valve engine. a my correct?

they also came in silver color.

it´s just the 12V with cat.
grill is the plastic-chrome one.

I don´t know if there´s any 16V left here in germany.
Think they all went to africa.:(

No, the 16V was a rare option, for its extra cost at that time and only 14hp gain, many bout the 12V. However the JDM version got 160hp with electronic ignition.

Your car looks really nice, and clean.. it need some low tho :) And what happened to the a-deck executie?.

the sedan will go low.
hope to get it done this weekend.

the deck is currently residing in a barn.
it needs some attention on outer axle joints, the leaky head and valve cover, etc.

gave it to a friend in exchange for some repair jobs...
but some day it´ll be on the road again.

but since i got the sedan i don´t want it back:tongue:
it´s a reliable and comfortable daily driver in an acceptable condition.

it is, they are robust cars. mine starts and goes when ever I ask it to. beem driving it for 40k km last year with only oil chances and basic maintainance. The most reliable car I ever had, besides 190e MB, a panzer.

Looks like mine did before, except for yours looks to be in a lot better shape. How is your spoiler holding up? The metal core in mine was rotten so I had to take it off.

That A-deck looked nice too. :)

Dude, Phoenix Red is pretty hot for a factory Honda color.

Looks like mine did before, except for yours looks to be in a lot better shape. How is your spoiler holding up? The metal core in mine was rotten so I had to take it off.

I didn´t yet have a look under the rear spoiler. I´d like to keep it off, but there are these 4 holes that need to be filled.

That A-deck looked nice too. :)

You´re right. my hood is badly burnt by sun. polishing and waxing usually helps for a few days - until all the paint is gone:(

the rear spoilers colour has also changed over the years - really belached

that´s why i wrote "shitty red".
