86 accord lx-i PGMFI light code7

Hi I JUST BOUGHT A 86 ACCORD A FEW WEEKS AGO,AND NOW THEPGMFI LIGHT HAS BEEN GOING ON AND I CHECKED THE ECU UNDER THE SEAT ANDIT BLINKS 7 TIMES. WHATS THAT MEAN AND IS MY CAR GONNA BREAK DOWN? (IM TRAUMATIZED FROM MY 94 ACCORD I BOUGHT AND IT BROKE 4 DAYS LATER LOL) ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED.........

are all 7 blinks on for the same time??

does it run fine??

is there any problems??

7 blink of the same time is the throttle angle

Ive checked multiple times and i believe all lights blink at same speed no pauses... The car hasnt had any problems really, just ran low on gas once and it wouldnt start for a few minutes but got it 2 the gas station and its been fine so far....

check the sensor.

how do i check that, and will it mess up my car????

It may make your idle erratic. Im not sure if it totally fails if your car wont run or not.

Its a sensor on the throttle blade that tells the computer what position the throttle blade is at. Where your right foot is at.

You can test it by checking the voltage it puts out it. should be like .5v at idle and 4.5 at full throttle. I thinks its 3 wires.
