Hey fellas need help figuring out where to start with my freaking slow windows, is it as simple as wd-40 or is there a proper grease procedure? ALSO I put a fresh battery in her last night come out this morning and its dead, is there something that commonly does this or am I running a voltmeter for the culprit?

There is never anything that will commonly drain battery except for u. Do a parasitic drain test and find out

Most common thing is probably forgetting the lights on ;)

If you bring your rpms over 2000 those windows will roll up/down nice and fast...

Could be window motor going bad, or COULD be an early warning sign of alt going out. When you put a new alternator in, windows move faster, lights are brighter, etc...

I will have to drill and tap the input shaft,

On the power windows they dont move any faster even when idled up... alternator is making 14.... something at idle. this ones been sitting for a while I think I am going to give WD a shot and see how it goes..

Is the battery at 14 it is the alternator at 14? Also are you only checking for volts from the alternator? If so you need to be checking amperage as well. If the alternator reading 14 volts that just means the alternator is putting proper charge into it but not neccesarily proper charging rate. Check amperage and get back to us

i dont know how the honda window motors are, but my old explorer i had to take out of the door, take apart and replace some nylon plugs in there that the motor uses to rotate the shaft.

like i said not sure on the honda side, but im betting its something to do either with your track or your motors

the window thing will just be a build up of shit in the runners.
go get some crc dryglide or similar teflon spray and give the runners a good spray while working the windows up and down.
