I bought an engine rebuild kit , some of them I can't recognize .. the small ones mainly .

i know that #20 is for the oil filter base

It's a bit hard to tell for some of those gaskets just by looking at a picture so make sure you actually try comparing it.

1)Injector (upper cushion)
2)Injector (lower seal)
3)air suction valve gasket (for carbs)
4)
5)
6)possibly distributor??
7)
8)gasket between thermostat housing and head
9)carburetor insulator
10)thermostat
11)water pump
12)possibly injector upper o-rings??
13)
14)
15)possibly oil pump? (the one that gets sandwiched inside pump)
16)
17)possibly oil pump? (goes between oil pump and block
18)
19)oil pump
20)oil filter base gasket
30)possibly water pipe o-ring?? (at the back of block)

The rest is hard to tell just by looking. But gaskets/o-rings that should/could be in the kit are (size in brackets):
-fuel pressure regulator o-ring
-oil pick up tube o-ring (15.5x2.7)
-pcv black box o-ring (20.6x2.6)
-air temp sensor o-ring (7.5x1.5)
-fast idle valve gasket (15.8x1.9)
-distributor (26.4x3.1)
-speed sensor unit to tranny (23.5x2)
-coolant tube running at back of block (27.6x4.1)

Maybe someone else can fill in the rest.

#10 is for the thermostat
#8 is for the thermostat housing/head

#1 and 2 are for the injectors I think

I like this, would be good in a sticky somewhere possibly IMO

I'm looking after the oil jet one (between block and head).
and after the one on the bottom of the block that I've listed in my thread in the technical->carb forum

Sometimes rebuild kits come with gaskets & O-rings for both fuel injection & carbed models & different variations of the engine... Just need to pay attention to where the gaskets are when you dis-assemble it... (which is too late I guess?)
Most of the O-rings I can remember are listed..

it's not to late , they are still in place , but I want to be shure because some of them are almost similar.

The jet o-ring size should be 6.5x1.5. The other o-ring in your other thread is for the oil pick up and should be 15.5x2.7.

I've also edited my earlier post with o-ring sizes for the stuff not number matched.

where do I find the o-ring that seats between the booster and brake master cylinder?

there isn't one, if there's anything there might be a dust seal, The booster is sealed, the pushrod from the booster just pushes on the back of the master cyl pistons, there is no need for a seal for fluid or a vacuum seal. I can't tell in that picture, but aren't some of those the valve stem seals? most rebuild kits come with a set. EDIT I just counted eight, never mind.

You're probably talking about the rod seal right? It always comes with a new/reman master cylinder (or atleast the ones I buy do). The black seal on the right side in the pic below?

there is a leak between them..

if brake fluid is coming out the back of the master cyl, the master cyl is bad. it can also get into the booster and destroy the rubber diaphragm. if you hear vacuum leaking at that junction, the booster is bad, possibly from fluid leaking into it. both are sealed from each other.

brake fluid is leaking.
I'll buy a new one..

lostforawhile is correct. If there is a leak, it's time for a new master cylinder.

don't drive it until you fix that, if it's already leaking that seal inside of the master can fail completely with no warning, it's supposed to move the piston forward so one piston works if it fails, but you lose half your brakes. I nearly hit a tree due to this a few years ago. you hit the brakes and have almost none left
