cheers! I had epic fail yesterday when I pulled the gearbox apart, everything fell off the input shaft. I think i got it back together right though (i hope). heres a a20 diff with a b20a ring gear

it took a long time to tighten those bolts when all you have is a breaker bar and a broken vice. after that was done i gave it a good hosing down to clean out all the shit inside.

casing fitted back on like it should, shifts into gear like it should. guess i wont really know how it goes till it's in a car lol. I'm confident that if it's put back together right, this will be a reliable setup though.

lol yeah i fucked up. i pulled the casing back off. The counter shaft decided it will stay stuck to the casing & all the gears on the input shaft fell out all over the garage floor, even bigger fail than before. I'll just install another gear set and casing.

could've been worse, i coulda put it in a car and then fail when i try to drive it, making me have to pull it all out again haha

hahaha epic fail. i also assembled a gearbox today and i got it together and swore when 5th gear didnt work, then after i unbolted it i realised 5th gear bolts on after the casing goes on haha

if you haven't noticed, there's a couple injectors in the top of the intake manifold. these don't let you close the bonnet, so i got the grinder out and cut this flash piece of steel

as you know, grinders make the shittiest cuts ever, so i spent about a hour with the file getting it that nice and straight and smooth lol. i painted it silver

i have to figure out how to hold the big of metal to the manifold. hoping i can find some really strong glue around here somewhere to glue the sticker on the metal, and to glue that to the manifold haha. otherwise i'll have to drill holes and bolt it on. i suppose that would look alright if i use nice looking bolts

but gorilla glue? try some of that stuff.. works great on just about everything.

and weird place for the injectors. ive usually seen ppl adding them to the intake pipe, never put them in the manifold like that.

sweet after this all i have to do is make a throttle cable bracket & find another reverse light switch and it should be ready for installation
