ok guys. just got the accord today. $200 drove it away. the rings are bad, gonna rebuild it but need a motor to drop in first. what else will drop right in with out to much problem? im thinking that an 86'-89' prelude/integra will swap but i dont know. Will have some pics of the ride up tommorow.

Huh? You're going to swap in a motor so you can rebuild and swap in another motor? That doesn't sound too smart to me. It's not like changing your socks.

you must mean the second generation prelude motor, which is the same A20, are you trying to find a decent junkyard motor while you are rebuilding that one in other words, if it's the same A20 it's not that bad to change

Just drop a lesser mile a20 (86-89 accord) and be done with it.

I think that's what he's wanting to do, but be able to drive it while rebuilding the motor

84-87 prelude =yes
86-89 accord= yes
Acura = no

With proper tools (and a hand) you can swap it out no problem I'm sure.
Putting them back together is much more fun.
