After a while, my car won't go lower than 1.5-2 thousand RPM.

What could be causing this problem?

Do you guys think my antifreeze mix might have anything to do with this?
I ask because I mixed in the diluted water and antifreeze...

It's carb btw

Not 100% familiar with the crab models, but I'd start with vacuum lines.

probably a VAC leak

use a flammable propellant like wd40 or just a small propane torch (not lit). run over all vac lines top, bottom and hidden. When the engine idle changes you found the problem

why did you add coolant and did you bleed it after?

Does sound like a vacuum leak, but on a carb that could be in a lot of places if it's still all oem

Actually Iv'e done it with brake cleaner fluid, and carb cleaner as well (be careful tho, as this stuff is very corrosive to plastic, and paint). Always remember to start with a visual check of all the hoses, there may be a very obvious crack in one of the VAC lines.

i,ve done the same with ether, just have to be bloody careful and have lots of ventilation.
one of those propane torches works to, cause you can run the nozzle along each vac line and gasket seperately, it very accurate.
just turn on the gas, dont light it
