damn coolant is leaking into the car again.. front left CV joints are fucked too I think. I'm also hearing some lovely noises from the rear shocks. WELL THATS IT! no i'm not selling my car, but I'm going to buy some beater to use as my day-to-day work car and keep my 3g in the garage to fix up. Checked the local paper and saw a ford escort gt for $500 and a camaro for around $900. for about that price range I'm sure i'll find a working car to last a while.

i also saw a civic with a gsr type-r engine swapped in for $10k cdn....

For the money you would spend to buy that other car and fix it to make it driveable, you could be fixing your 3g..and then you wont have to worry about selling the other car whenever you did fix your 3g.

Did that make any sense?

Nate.

I don't have the money to fix all of my car's problems right now, plus I have a rust issue so keeping it in the garage for the winter is a good plan for me. My job makes me tons of money at christmas so I'll be able to drop it all on an engine swap, suspension, exhaust and a shitload of sandpaper.

As for the other car, I'm hoping to get something cool (like not a ford taurus) that I can keep as a project car for things like flaming exhaust.

I went through that with my other accord so i stopped working on it when it was broken into and i bought another coupe (found by accident) when i ran into it and it was in excellent shape. I drive my old one as a spare and for the winter while i fix up the new one and so far so good......You really need a second car to drive i eventually want a 4x4 truck for the winter and as a daily driver.......
