K well i just install my b16 manifold and it had the old style rail and i had a leak problem. For those of you that put a b16 manifold on did you switch the banjo bolt line from the filter to the rail.

I mean it fits but the rail dont have a hole threw it like the stock one did. SO here are a couple pics

Here is my stock rail. See how there is a hole in the bolt.

This is the B16a Rail. I had this one on and i had a fuel like using the cap that went with it. I didnt notice that it didnt have a Hole threw it either SO im like UMM thats why i have a leak!

i was also woundering why is there a adjustment screw on the surge vavle? the more i screw in the place in the nut "if you looking in it" goes back further. So im like confused LOL

Maybe i need this washer?

SO i didnt like how it looked. So i forgot that i had a newer style Obd1 b16 fuel line. has the same problem. It fits but there is no hole! Do i still put it on and run that cap. How would the fuel enter?

This would be usefull for people doing the same. I havent gottan the d series fuel line yet since they fit.

Help me out.

Im guessing you using the stock Fuel line for the A20 fuel rail? Have you thought about getting the B16 fuel line for the B16 fuel rail? it could have different ends or something?

I don't know man, I'm in the same boat. Maybe drill a hole in the fitting like the stock a20 one?

Does the fuel go through the pressure damper somehow? Can you take a picture of the threaded side of the damper?

You know, I just remembered, there are two types of Honda fuel fittings, one with the surge thing and one without. They are not interchangeable so if the A20 line doesn't use a surge damper it won't work on the B type rails. You need the B type line.

the easiest way to over come the problem is......

I have those, so I'm not sure how that helps the question.

Since b16 don't exist around here and I don't really want to buy new... Should I just spend the extra and go with AN and some stainless line?

Could you not just use a B18xx fuel line? I think they all use the surge damper.

The banjo/AN adapter plus AN line would also work. That's what I did when I was running a B18A1 intake and rail.

I will have to look at some b18's next time, as those are much more common here.

The AN stuff is awesome ...but holy shit is it expensive.

K thanks Jerry for your help. But I didn't have the money for AN fittings so did something easy an effected Rendon syle lol

DIY convert your stock line to a b series syle to fit on a pulse damper style fuel rail.

Tools needed:
Dremel
Step bit
Break clean
Compressed air

1. Take your stock line off after you disconnect your battery.
2. Compare bolt lines short one 91 ls teg "used as a guide for the hole on the banjo end" an long on is the stock accord one

http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/ww290/Rendonlxi/76f675e3.jpg
As you can see that the back face "that goes against the rail" has a small hole
3.this is the other side where you bolt / surge valve tightens as you can see the ls "top" is way bigger for fuel flow
http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/ww290/Rendonlxi/844cbd4e.jpg
4. You need these tools to do this task properly
http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/ww290/Rendonlxi/8cea6a84.jpg
Why I recommend the step is cause I can measure how big the ls hole is an then step drill to what the ls line end was.
5. After drilling the stock line "bottom" you can see it's the same as the ls line. Take your time the slow you push the cleaner the cut an stop after each step on the bit. Remember how many steps to go down . Or else your fawked lol.
http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/ww290/Rendonlxi/bc2d788d.jpg
6. Finished product stock accord line to newer syle pulser damper fuel end type. This is where I used the dremel to smooth out the edges an in inside an make everything clean" take your time an once done spray an clea. With brake clean. Shoot also down the slime from the other side then hit it with te blow gun. Bam done

O you need this after this mod is done
Special pulser nut an this washer is needed also " I got mine off a DA"

Now I got a cleaner setup . But a few minor problems I have a really low oil pressure 10 psi at idle so I'm prolly going to replace the oil pump here shorty. Other then that pretty straight forward

I think the 86-87 have a different line than a 88-89 because mine just bolted up with no problem
