Alternator belt worked itself loose

Has anyone ever had this problem? I'm currently replacing the transmission as my seal is leaking, and I noticed that when I was removing the shifter from the tranny, about 90% of my lower alternator bolt was hanging off to the side.


I'm starting to think my urathaned motor mouts may have had something to do with it

Its possible. More likely that it didnt get put on properly and the vibration didnt help.

I assume you meant bolt instead of belt. and yeah i agree ^^ I would also put a spring washer or nylon threaded nut on there
