need help... how to remove cruise control on carb

i need help to remove my cruise control no need for it anymore. i have a couple of questions. would removing the cruise control make it idle high?(i have a carb)would it not pass a smog test or any problems. but yes any one can please help to remove my cruise control

Why not just turn it off? What's the point to actually remove it from the vehicle?

well how do you turn it off then haha but i actually want to remove it because it will clean up the engine bay
