Hi.. I'm from Paraguay - South America... in 1987 less than 10 Aerodecks came to this country... and i wanted to show you mine.. and the other one that still works...

what do you mean whit shaving? how is it going to look like that? i just want it stock... and put 17" or 18" wheels.. and the exhaust.. i just want a nice one like this http://www.speedalliance.com/images/HKS/Exhaust/Sport_Exhaust.jpg and i want to make the same design of the original mugen spoiler but in fiber glass because i dont think i can get one of those..

oh! and i want electrical power mirrors :D and.. the seats are in leather.. but the rear ones are not.. i want them to be made of leather too :D but im really patience.. and im just getting the $$$$ to do all of this things... just body work.. $750.. and the rims 17" with tires i want $1250... just for you to have an idea of how are the prices in this side of the world.. (Paraguay is between Brazil, Argentina and Bolivia)

thanks man! your hatch is AMAZING! and yes... i'm telling you.. this is not going to be fast :( because of $$$$.. but i really have greats plans fot the Aero :) so i wont post for weeks or maybe months :S i want to fix it in a short time, but it depends.. because there are so many things we are changing in our family business.. let see what happens....

Told u that here in Paraguay is another Aerodeck that still works... here are the pics of the car (one day I saw him driving on an avenue and i stoped him saying.. HEY! I HAVE A CAR LIKE YOURS!!! and he says... really?? and I ask him to park his car to see it XD) but the guy who was driving is the nephew of the real owner.. thats named Eddie Nakayama, who is in Japan right now and he wants to rebuild his Aerodeck when he gets back in December of this year :D Eddie founds me on another thread I have in a paraguayan web site.. :D there was where he told me that I actually found his car XD

The crash the car has in the side is because a bus tried to take over another car XD (that allways happens in here) haha and.. that plate you see above the right tail light is the HONDA dealer in Paraguay "Vicar S.A." and Eddie's Family has been having the car from there :D So he really knows what is an Honda Accord Aerodeck :)

I don't know how to tell you this, but you do realize you're going to spend a fortune restoring that car and it will be worth exactly nothing when you're done, right? I don't want to rain on your parade, but that car is in a world of hurt and resale values on old Hondas aren't exactly stellar. If you had a gullwing Mercedes, that would be different, but you don't. Good luck with the project.

haha i'm really grateful about that warning man... i know the resales prices of the 3geez here, and i know the prices of the parts for the car in here (the ones that exist) XD but... i love this car and i dont wanna resale it... i wanna keep it! :D i know all the work i have to do yet... but i'm REALLY patient... and this is not the only car my family have.. we have a '97 Suzuki Maruti, a '93 Honda Civic and we were about to buy a '02 Honda Fit... but this Aero makes me happy.. and through this page i figured out about so many things about the Aerodeck.. and its just something i wanna do.. im just 21 years old! this car is older than me! haha but im working hard and making everything to get this Aerodeck unique! :D like you can see in my signature... what do you think? :) i know is it gonna be slow and expensive.. but IT IS GONNA BE :D

I understand completely. You wouldn't believe what I've spent on mine, even though I started from a much better base. If mine had been like yours, I probably would have sent it away. If it makes you happy though, then rock on. Just prepare yourself for a very long and expensive slog. Best of luck.

haha thanks man! but I'm getting used parts for the principal repairing, so its not thaaat expensive.. the principal problem for me was the body damage and its ok now :) and the engine is still in perfect shape so that makes me happy too.. I know how much I have to spend in the interior too and its ok for me... and in my ex school I can get manpower almost for free with some friends.. and things like that.. fortunately is not going to be THAT expensive.. I just need some parts for the engine that are expensive and i don't know if you saw the rear suspension wishbone that is curved :( I didn't even ask for it yet.. but we'll see :)

In America, there is a saying: "beating a dead horse." It is for when someone makes a point and keeps saying it over and over and over. If the point has already been said, there's no reason to say it again. And if the horse is already dead, there's no reason to keep beating it.

Respect for trying to revive that thing. So rough. And in my opinion, 16's are the biggest wheels this car should have. 17s or 18s are too big.

Hey guys! looong time! there is no progress yet with the Aero :( we have many bills to pay in the family business :( I auto-became the manager of the business and change many things, a few weeks ago I paid all the bills, we repair the clutch of the Suzuki Maruti, the starter, and got a new distributor (i dont know how to say, its ok?) and now I have to take the Civic to the garage, the main pulley and the pin were very (wasted-spent) ¿? haha and yesterday we got new ones, so! I hope to have some news of the Aerodeck very soon! I decided to get enough many to repair all the car "once and for all" ¿?
