Hello I am new here I just picked up my first Honda out of all the cars I have owned. I have never worked on one and do not know of the common problems of these car except for what I have read on the forum for the last week. I will post pictures of it after i reach my 5th post.

It is a light blue car.

It has blue interior which i do not like.

It has the A20A3 engine in it with quite a few oil leaks.

It is a automatic, i hope to change it out to a 5-speed real soon.

The body only has two rust spot on it that i can see as of right now, won't be able to look for more until tomorrow, been waiting for the weekend to look it over.

My name is Kirt and i will hopefully get this car back in to real good shape here soon.

Quick question the car has a huge oil leak on the driver side of the motor and the timing cover is wet with oil in the middle of the cover not the bottom or the top.

Would that be the camshaft seal?

Another one is how do you install the control for the windshield wipers.

I'm talking about the one on the steering column mine was broken off by the previous owner and i have a new one just don't know how to install it.

Sorry for asking all these questions but i am new to honda's.

Welcome! The oil is probably coming from all the front seals. You have to take a lot apart to get to any one of them, so it's best to replace them all: cam, crank, oil pump and valve cover. Change the belts while you're at it.

Not too bad. Looks like it could use a good scrubbing.

Yea the car does definetly need a good scrubbing. Whats weird is once the car is a quart low, the leak stops???
