not hard at all. I used a 95 gsr ps line and just rebend the metal hose to the pump.

So any detail's on the build? Problems? etc.
no its easy if you know what you are doing

After all these years of b-swap trash talking, now you have one. Congratulation!
thank you sir. I had the choice of buying a 98 ITR for 5k or spending it on the 3gee. I hope I made the right choice

update. car just turned 176k. I replaced the clutch because the one i had was for a hydro trans and the pedal was too stiff for daily driving. Now i have ACT street light flywheel and a stage 1 excedy clutch. its much smoother to drive and it feels faster. will post more vids after i work on my vss

Hey messy, are you using a 2.0 rad or a 1.8? i didn't see it in your list..

stock koyo radiator. i did have to remove the ac fan because the exhaust manifold would be too close to it.

for axels i used stock hydro gsr but the passanger side is too tight. im going to replace it with a 1st gen integra. just did the research on rock auto the hydro axel is 23 1/2 inches and on the 1st gen is 23 1/6in

ShyBoyCA6

I wish the back side was as shiny but the California sun has eaten the clear coat on the roof and trunk lid. It needs a new paint job

Looks good. Needs boost :D

that was my plan but the way gas prices look she is going to stay NA for a very long time.

Clean as always!... What needs to be finished?

clean out the engine bay(wire tuck) finish the OBD1 swap because i have not done VSS and O2 sensors. so check engine light always comes on when slowing down

If you read my april 13 post i had to fix the injector because it was stuck open. It was running pig rich and making it look like my headgasket went out. Now I only have 1 job and no more GF so i will have time on the weekends to work on it some more. I put 100 miles the first day. its easy to drive when you are having fun in a 3gee. I want to install a resonator because its too loud for my taste now

Hey Messy, I own a 89 coupe lxi.

She's got her issues but the body is great, no rot underneath and just a quarter sized patch on the wheel well.

I'm getting a better job and will now have a lot of extra money to do what I always wanted to do which was supe my accord up. Basically I'm asking how much of a hassle is it finding the b18c1 parts and swapping out my automatic tranny for the gs-r manual do you think? I'm looking to spend somewhere around 2 grand on finishing off my accord, maybe more if I can justify the price haha

added purigen so now im running like 98% nitrogen in my tires. let me tell you now the car handles and stops much better. Its also smoother and has better acceleration. Im convinced that nitrogen also improves with gas mileage.

My road trip back in Jan to LA I did an avg of 26-27mpg going about 85-90mph. On my most recent road trip to LA again It did 29mpg and this time I was racing a BMW e36 328Is(he could not pull on me and I was pulling on him). I hit 130mph a few times and I did avg speed of 95-100mph on hwy 5. almost 350miles to the tank with my pedal to the floor.

nice day in san mateo

Damn Messy, Just looking at the pictures and everything is awesome!! I'm thinking about doing even more (lol, seen my facebook?) motor moving around and I'm thinking I may move the b16b into the Coupe and keep it as a smooth DD. Just need mounts (since cutting out my old mounts from the white lude probably isn't going to net kind results) and start working with the car... I guess wiring wise I'm just going to need a Dizzy adapter, 02 wiring, vss wiring, and vtec wiring!

Since my other car was totaled its time to spend time and money on the 3gee.

ever since I did the timing belt the thermostat that I bought was not very good(napa auto parts) it would overheat at stop lights and then after driving it would go back to normal temp. I bought an OEM one but I was wanting to upgrade my cooling system so I bought the Mishimoto racing thermostat. I also flushed my cooling system. now the car is running better and it has a good idle and bottom end.

Ever since last years JCCS on my way back i picked up a nail on my rear tire so i had mis-matching tire sizes in the back. Now i was doing my research and the Yokoyamas S Drive had good reviews. so i picked up 2 new rear ones. Front tires are at 60% so i will pick some up when i have to rotate them. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v650/Messybone/LX-i/null_zps0f4017f6.jpg (http://smg.photobucket.com/user/Messybone/media/LX-i/null_zps0f4017f6.jpg.html)

If you want a full size rad, I have been really happy with my mishimoto rad for the crx full size. The bottom rad mounts needed to be relocated and then the rad has places to bolt through the sides to the rad support. Overall it fits really well and I never have any issues with coolant temps.

I moved to a new place in July and got internet installed about a month ago. I like my new place its a in law unit in the back of the main house right next to a 2 car garage. I had to clean up the garage to even get my car to fit. Today was my tune up day. Replaced the oil, tire rotation, new cam seal, valve cover gasket, vtec solenoid and low profile washers. I had them since April and just collecting dust. ok enough talking and now for pictures.
Here is the plain and boring engine bay. Its a daily driver so keeping it clean has fell sideways.

Very True jessy. You can get the what i got for only 350 an plugs to your stock ecu. idk i cant see my self forking out 1000 bucks for a ecu an other 500 for the coil on plug add on. you get the same results plus B series use Honda fit coils perfectly. Which is what im using which im sure you know that.

Update: 09/10/2016

Hey guys,

I've been busy with work and life. The accord clutch cable decided to snap in June. They had it in stock at the part store and I replaced it in the parking lot. In July I moved back to San Mateo and now i'm putting more miles on it. Raced a automatic G35 with intake and exhaust and I smoked it. After getting off the freeway I noticed that my car would not go in gear. I would have to turn it off and start in gear. I had a Stage 4 clutch since last year so all I had to do is pick up a aluminum flywheel to install. I also installed my MFactory LSD with new carbon synchros and bearings. It shifts very smooth and now its a bit firm on gears. The clutch is a bit heavy but its ok as long as I'm not in traffic. I have put 500 miles since the LSD install and its so werid that in turns the car just wants to turn and its nice to have power in both wheels. I have already pushed my car around the twisties and I ended up 180*. Now I know I need a traction bar since my accord one keeps on breaking. Its the 3rd time in the last 2 years. I will keep you guys updated with more since I will be taking it to JCCS 2016.

it was time to upgrade to a 350mm wheel since my 320 was a bit small and would not let me see my cluster. got a momo and wow what a day and night difference. looks an feels good to drive the car. its a quality wheel and you can just tell by the build.

Thats what I want you to think. Both bottom radiator mounts had to be welded in the bottom and the top stud of the radiator had to be relocated but the hoses fit just perfect. I'm glad I went with this set up to make room for a big turbo kit and way to mount a rear mount intercooler.

I got the car back from the shop back in Dec. I been having issues with voltage at high rpms. would lean out the engine after 6k. I'ts back at the shop where the wiring harness was installed.

Hey guys,

Now with facebook group I never come over here. Car was running great after I upgraded to bigger Alternator 90amp from b20. The wiring was upgraded with bigger wires. I have tons of pics but they are just on my phone. One day I hope to get bored and upload them. I took the car to the track in Jan and it ran a 15.2 in the quarter mile. I feel like I need more seat time and got to learn how to get a better 60 foot because my average was 2.4

Hey Messy!

Do you think the main issue was the wiring? Or was the alternator going bad? Bad voltage regulator or worn out diodes? Seems weird that more alternator output would do anything.

i did the alt swap myself to the 90 amp. had no issues. adding more grounds is needed . i know this cause doing a voltage drop i was losing alot. added more grounds fixed that issue. retested all ok. if you don't you'll stress out your alt in any car. grounds are crucial.
