View Full Version : Help Identifying Sidedraft Manifold

I know a guy that has a sidedraft manifold for a single DCOE 45 that is supposedly for an older Honda engine. I had him take some pics of it so we can try and identify what engine it may fit. It has a strange tube coming off 2 of the runners. Anyone have any ideas. I don't have the manifold in my possession (yet) so I can't try different gaskets to see what lines up. I thought someone might be familiar enough with manifolds to give some idea as to it's application.

Here's the pics.

woah!
woah!
woah!

that pipe is for coolant... at least I'm pretty sure it is.

there is a sensor to connect the stock temperature guage for the cluster.

it may fit with a little mods to it.

damn it's too small. :(

our manifold is about 12.5" from outer most port to outer most port

that one looks closer to 11"

-------------

- about 7.75" from each outer edge of the 2 main runners on the intake manifold (for that manifold I can't tell, but it may be close).

- about 1.5" space between the 2 inner smaller intake runners (this one has about 2.25 to 2.5").

- about 5" from the outer edge of each set of smaller runners (that manifold appears to have 4").

If I were to guess its for a gen1 or gen2 civic. I know cannon makes a single dcoe manifold for them. You'll never get that to fit a 3rd gen, the ports are completely diferent.

If anyone wants to get this manifold to modify/play with it, here's the contact info:
